About Matt

Why did i become a driving instructor?

I became a driving instructor around 1 year ago after ending a 12-year career in the Royal Air Force where I found the passion for teaching people new skills. I set a goal to transfer my experience and become a driving instructor to help people towards a valuable life skill.

Experience

In the RAF I was employed as an HGV and specialist vehicle instructor where I have gained valuable experience in teaching people of all ages, personalities and learning differences. This has allowed me to find success when teaching (the results speak for themselves).

I always take a calming approach during lessons making even the most nervous clients feel relaxed, I believe this creates the best learning environment. I am always happy to adapt any lesson to suit your needs and do not stick to the same ‘old school’ strategies.

Fun facts, hobbies and interests

Driver of Prince William for the RAF on station engagements. (my claim to fame haha).

Massive football fan, just ask me to find out which team!

Owner of the crazyiest Border Collie who needs daily and sometimes hourly walks.
